Coach House acts as your trusted construction liaison, by educating and guiding you through the costs that are driving your project's overall budget. Once we have explored and decided all the details of your project, Coach House Homes will then manage the construction process as your General Contractor, in a transparent and open book approach.

The Character Behind the Construction
Meet the character behind the name. Kate Schley is the Owner and Originator of the concept behind Coach House Homes. A wife and mother of three, Kate started Coach House Homes because of an inner desire to be an open and honest contractor. She brings her knowledge and expertise to home owners in a transparent and educational format.
Kate understands how big of a decision working on homes is to Home Owners. She has a passion in teaching and guiding her clients in every decision they make, providing a true partnership approach to building and remodeling.
Starting her Design Build career back in 2003, Kate has worked on projects from designing whole house interiors of Luxury Spec Homes in Las Vegas, to managing entire hotel renovations, building out spas and restaurants, as well as developing home renovations and additions. Since 2012, Kate has been consulting home owners in the Milwaukee area on projects from kitchen and bath remodels, additions, whole house remodels and custom homes. After experiencing all sides of construction, Kate saw the need, and found a passion for providing Home Owners the personalized and caring approach to home building and remodeling.
She wants to be your trusted advisor.

The Coach House way
The biggest difference between Coach House and other Contractors is the way we present and explore your project. Unlike other contractors, Coach House wants to openly disclose all of your project costs, in an open book approach. This allows us to help educate and coach you on your project.
- STEP ONE- What is possible? We will start with a preliminary proposal, including various design options, and present possible budgets for those various designs.
- STEP TWO- Once we secure the desired design, Coach House Homes becomes your personal Construction Agent, and will competitively bid your project to various trusted trade contractors. We then present what the total project costs, based on bids provided by our trade partners. This is done in a transparent approach by showing Owners all of the underlining costs and where savings maybe had.
- STEP THREE- Final details and selections are made to keep the project in budget. A final contract is written.
- STEP FOUR- Coach House Homes builds your project!
